
Tomorrow we meet with Innocentive to continue our dialog from October 22, 2009 to design a program where the Innocentive open innovation platform can be specially tuned and sponsored to suit the needs of the Social Enterprise.
I am calling it The Social Enterprise Innovation Network, and will use this journal to keep track of the process.
There are a number potential collaborators for SEIN that have emerged over the past 10 years in Silicon Valley - for example: The Skoll Foundation Connecting and Celebrating Social Entrepreneurs | Skoll Foundation and its Social Edge “The Social Entrepreneur API will provide an easier way for people to find, invest in, and support social entrepreneurs, as well as serve as a resource for social entrepreneurs to connect with each other and partner for greater impact.”
STanford University's Graduate School of Business has been a leader in developing academic and student interest in Social Entrepreneurship for over a decade with a dedicated academic curriculum, events and a continuing podcast program on The Conversations Network Research: News: Stanford GSB This link features a short video on Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford.
The global membership organization YPO with over 27,000 CEOs has a dedicated program for Social Entrepreneurship called SEN

In this recent post, FutureLab predicts the growing importance of Social Enterprises and the viral impact of Social Technologies in driving their growth:
